RACKS AND CABINETS
Racks and Cabinets Learning Path
Learn cabinet selection, rails, shelves, equipment layout, airflow, cable management, rack power and commissioning from an empty rack to a maintainable installation.
Learn the technology before selecting the product
This path starts with the requirement, teaches the infrastructure principles, then connects those principles to the product families available from Server Warehouse.
A category relationship means the lesson is relevant to that hardware class. It does not state that every product in the category is interchangeable or compatible with every installation.

COMPLETE LEARNING PATH
10 modules
Work through the modules in order for a structured course, or enter at the chapter that matches the hardware you are evaluating.
U height, depth, width, load and service clearance.
Rail kits, cage nuts, shelves and chassis support.
Weight, blanking, intake, exhaust and serviceability.
Managers, service loops, patching and labelling.
Build from empty cabinet to installed equipment.
PDU, A/B feeds and power distribution.
Weight, heat, runtime and service access.
Patch panels, routing and cleaning.
Patch panels, managers and test records.
Rack elevation, labels, power, airflow and handover.
VERTICAL DEEP DIVES
Field workshops and advanced chapters
Use these after the core learning path when you need to install, migrate, tune, test or troubleshoot the technology in more depth.
Choose cabinet depth from equipment chassis, rail kit, cable bend space, PDU position and service clearance rather than from the server depth alone.
Build front-to-rear airflow deliberately so hot exhaust is not recirculated through server intakes.
Design rack power so dual-corded equipment can survive a defined upstream failure and technicians can identify each feed safely.
